consequential local, regional, national, and international artists and offers regularly scheduled programs (lectures, film screenings, tours, etc.) and events. The SHOP features locally produced merchandise. Thursdays are Free and open until 8pm.

Piedmont Park
Located just 1/2 miles from the Jewish community of Toco Hills, Piedmont Park is one of the largest green spaces in the city, which includes playgrounds for children of varying ages, baseball, soccer and football fields, and public tennis courts. Piedmont Park's sidewalks are one of the many PATH trails for pedestrians, bikers and rollerblading.
Piedmont Park Dog Park, is an enclosed area where dogs can play off-leash.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historic Site
Visitors can pay their respects at Dr. King's original grave-site and current tomb. Take a tour of his boyhood home, Ebenezer Baptist Church and historic Fire Station No. 6 - one of the South's first desegregated fire houses, which now serves the community with free exhibits. Walk in the footsteps of a hero at the International Civil Rights Walk of Fame, the only walkway to feature authentic shoe prints of civil rights pioneers.

The National Park Service offers free guided tours of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s birth home. Pick up a timed ticket at the information desk inside Freedom Hall at The King Center.
